Joel Minor is the curator of the Modern Literature Collection and manuscripts at Washington University in St. Louis, where the William H. Gass Papers are held. He has been involved in two Gass readings, a number of Gass-related events and promotions, and “The Soul Inside the Sentence,” a life-spanning exhibition on William H. Gass that he curated in 2013, also online. He lives in University City, Missouri, with his family and pets.
